Utility Recirculation Washers

For loose parts, like fittings, machinery parts, pipe sections, or for in place, pipelines, closed machinery, holding tanks. Now you can clean loose fittings and machine parts, and clean-in-place equipment with one complete washer, the Schlueter Safgard Utility Recirculation Washer.

By simply turning the handle on the three-way valve, the pump flow can be directed through tubing to the machine or pipeline to be a clean-in-place solution. CIP work can also be accomplished through use of (two) 2 manual polished butterfly valves and a tee installed, or with two (2) air-actuated butterfly valves and tee. By properly setting the return line from in-place equipment into the tank, loose parts can be cleaned at the exact same time as the clean-in-place equipment is being cleaned! Extensive experiments have resulted in tank sizes for convenient general use in recirculation cleaning, and in the Safgard Conical Disperser, features which will give you added time savings.

Direct injection of steam through a self-actuating steam regulator: Regulator includes stainless piping, stainless thermowell, stainless steam injector, the ports in the tank, and an additional port in the tank for insertion of a recording thermometer thermobulb to be used in CIP work.

  • Steam Regulators used are ½” Powers Steam Regulators – Self Actuating with stainless steel trim. ¾” , 1″, 1 ¼” and 1 ½” Powers Steam Regulators available per request.

Model RWC-10 with Wash Tank UW-175: This is the Safgard 175 Gallon “Big Washer” for all of your pipe, fittings, and machinery parts. Select the size tank you need and equip it with both the Jet Manifold for cross-tank washing – that gets into every crevice, and with the Push-Pull washing action that really optimally cleans pipe – both systems are valved so they can operate independently permitting full tank loads or parts to be washed with the fastest and most thorough washing actions.

The washer has the Model UW-175 tank of 14 gauge, can go lower, stainless steel and can be 304 or 316. All piping is sanitary tube with sanitary fittings, this big washer does all your COP washing with maximum efficiency!
